DAILY CARD 7 OF CUPS (WINDOW OF OPPORTUNITY) I’m using The Llewellyn Tarot Deck In the Llewellyn tarot deck, the 7 of cups, there are seven cups with different symbols in it and a girl sitting on the ground with her knees bend and one butterfly sitting on her finger and other butterflies just flying around her as she looks at the 7 cups. As I gaze upon this card the first thing that catches my sight is, THE YELLOW BUTTERFLIES. What are the yellow butterflies trying to tell me today? Butterflies Signifies: The soul, rebirth, eternal life, spiritual growth The soul is our inner essence reminding us that we are living beings. Today we are alive. Today brings about a new energy, another chance to make changes, to take what life has to offer and apply a more positive attitude toward life. Do something special for someone. Say I love you to someone who needs to hear it. What does yellow signify: Intellect, thought, communication? You bring into your life both positive and negative energies by the words you speak. Become more aware of your phrases. Use the words I can rather than I can’t. What does the number 7 mean: challenges, spirituality, vertical connection between the material and spiritual worlds, spiritual transformation that leads to material transformation. Transformation starts from within. Find a balance between the physical and spiritual world. Do all things in moderation. There is a time and place for everything. Don’t neglect your spiritual or your physical needs. They both are important to keep you alive. 7 of cups is minor arcana card that carries less karmic energy. Perhaps today you will be faced with challenges that will make force you to make a choice. Don’t procrastinate any longer. You have to make changes in order to see results. Find a constructive and creative way to sort out your feelings and ideas. What is the 7 of cups trying to tell us today? We are faced with choices everyday of our lives. Opportunities come and go. We can picture in our minds many doors with hidden secrets and we are asked today to make a choice and choose one door. How do we know if are going to choose the right door? For each door you see, imagine the door to represent a goal you want to achieve. Goals have to be within our reach and remain realistic. Goals we set have to be part of our divine path. A realistic goal for me would be: I want to loose about 10 lbs and I can achieve this within a period of a month if I apply myself to workout at least 3 times a week. A non realistic goal would be: I’m going to loose 10 lbs in 3 days, and not work out like I said I was. How does this goal fit into my divine path in life? Well, if I’m 10 lbs over weight, I can be at risk of health issues. I’m not happy being 10 lbs over weight, so I can go into a depression if I don’t take action. My depression can lead to an unhappy relationship, withdrawal and mental anguish. I know this is not the divine plan that God wants for me. On the other hand, if I’m happy, others will be happy around me. If I’m healthy, I can better take care of my family. We cannot depend on others to make us happy. Happiness comes from within us. Only we know what our true happiness is and we have the key to unlock that door marked HAPPINESS. With the 7 of cups you are faced with lots of possibilities to achieve your dreams, visions, and fantasies. You need, however, to remain realistic and not to drive yourself crazy and over whelmed by things you just can’t kid yourself about, focus on one goal at a time? Implement first. Make a plan and stick to it by working hard at it and you will reach your goal. Once you achieve one goal you can move on to the next. Change does not happen over night, or can it? It’s up to you and it depends on how bad you want it. Confusion will come when you are overwhelmed and too emotional. Step back, relax and re-focus. Take a deep breath and re-prioritize your goals. Beneath that confusion is a wealth of energy waiting to be released. This card can also reflect someone who has a drug and/or alcohol substance abuse problems. If you choose to quit smoking, drinking, drugging, and then you need to implement. Obviously, you need help. Find a support group; ask for support from family members, close friends. You can do it. You have to start by recognizing that you do have a problem. This also applies to bad behavior patterns, you can change them. If you seek you shall find; if you ask you shall receive. Another technique to reach your goals is to practice medication each day for about 20 minutes. The meditation will help release unwanted energy such as stress, anxiety, confusion. Meditations will help you re focus, clear your mind. Balance your chakras. Meditation will help you be with determination, commitment, and develop a strong will power. Only when your mind is clear and your heart is at peace can you understand and determine your true divine purpose in life. Knowing who you are and what your mission is on earth will help you make better and meaningful decisions with positive outcomes.
